You need a building permit for all construction that involves the construction, repair, movement to another site, removal, or demolition of any building or structure. All electrical, plumbing and mechanical work needs a separate permit for each trade. The price of the permit is calculated using the cost of the construction. Work on a project may not legally begin before a permit is obtained and on the work site.

Water heater applications are processed at the counter.

Bring your lease (or show us on your phone) that shows the rental dates, owner's name, renter's name, and physical address of the residence.

No, one car sticker per residence.

Yes, but only before 10 am.

No, your renter(s) will need to come, with their lease, during their stay and purchase their own pass.

Bring in your old sticker and proof of sale/purchase and we will issue you a new one at no charge.

Only Inns and Bed & Breakfasts who are registered with the Town of West Tisbury may get a commercial lodging pass. Air B&Bs, VRBO, guest houses, etc. do NOT get a commercial lodging pass.

You may purchase a Walk-On, but you MUST park outside of the parking lot.
